Minsk has decided from 9 o'clock in the morning (10:00 Moscow time) on 17 June to impose greater control over movement of goods to the Belarusian-Russian border. As explained by the Chairman of the State Control Committee of Belarus Alexander Shpilevski, the decision taken by the decree of the Head of State.

Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan for several years engaged in the harmonization of customs rules and tariffs as part of a Customs Union.
