In Russia will forbid the importation of used vehicles older than 5 years.
The Government of Russia is preparing a series of restrictive measures (and under certain conditions, and even prohibiting) the import of used cars and new cars, in direct competition models, produced in the territory of the Russian Federation. By this step, it also pushes the growing financial crisis, with its decline in the level of consumption and lack of funds.
Analysts suggest that the outcome of the meeting will be lowered the threshold of the so-called prohibitive duties on the importation of used vehicles older than 5 years (they now apply only to vehicles older than 7 years). In addition, the Government plans to raise import duties on new cars from 25% currently to 35% in the near future. Measures to increase import duties may affect both passenger cars and commercial, and freight.
