On Monday at the detention facility in Tbilisi clashed with police armed with batons dozens of participants of protests demanding the release from detention of opposition activists.
According to reports from the scene of the representatives of foreign media, the police confiscated cameras and journalists arrested several demonstrators. Several protesters were injured.
Opposition protests to demand the resignation of President Saakashvili continued since the beginning of April. The main reason for this conflict is the dissatisfaction of internal and external policies of the current administration.
